Job summary

Bupa Leominster Care Home is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the home, supporting residents and staff.

You will vacuum, mop, polish and keep communal areas and bedrooms tidy, while managing housekeeping stocks and liaising with the Housekeeping Supervisor to raise any issues. This permanent role offers regular shifts and a supportive team environment.

• Able to multitask and stay organised while managing multiple requests.
• Work with other teams to ensure residents are happy in their home.

Housekeeping Assistant Bupa Leominster Care Home, 44 Bargates, Leominster, HR6 8EY Salary £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience Permanent Contract. Thurs 9am -1pm Fri 9am-1pm Sat 7.30am -12.30pm Sun 7.30am - 12.30pm Mon 9am -1pm

You’ll help us make health happen by: You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
