Contract type:Part Time - 20 Hours - Weekends required - Days
Rate:£12.21 per hour

Join us as a Laundry Assistant at Woolston Housecare home in Warrington. In this role,you’ll provide an in-house laundry service for the people who live in our home.

As part of our Housekeeping Team, you’ll ensure that people have clean clothing and bed linen by providing an efficient laundry service which involves sorting, washing, drying and ironing.

About the role

OurLaundry Assistants ensure that people have clean and fresh clothing and linen.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• providing anin-house laundry serviceensuring that items in the laundry are cared for and not lost or damaged on your shift
• sorting, washing, drying and ironingclothing and linen
• operating alllaundry equipmentin line with manufacturer’s instructions
• providing arepair servicefor damaged and worn articles of clothing, linen and household furnishings
• establishing and maintaining systems fordistributing and controllingpeople’s personal clothing, including labelling
• buildingtrust and promotingchoice, dignity and independence.
