Job summary

Bupa Puttenham Hill House is seeking a Laundry Assistant to maintain high standards of washing, drying, ironing and care of resident items in a warm, caring home.

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate (£13.30–£14.30) with benefits and the chance to support a community-focused care home.

Qualifications

• Maintains high standards of laundry to keep residents clean and comfortable.
• Comfortable multitasking and handling multiple requests.
• Works with other teams to ensure residents are kept happy in their home.

Responsibilities

• Maintain linen stocks for day-to-day use around the home.

You'll help us make health happen by:

• Always maintaining high standards of laundry within our home.
• Keeping our resident's looking and feeling great; you will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing and repairing items of clothing as needed.
• Maintaining linen stocks for day to day use around the home, you'll raise any issues to the Senior Housekeeper as you go.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you'll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
