About The Role

Job Purpose:

You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry facility. Your duties include cleaning, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items according to standards. Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

1. Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
2. Removing stains from items using appropriate procedures.
3. Following laundering schedules and completing necessary paperwork.
4. Reporting issues, concerns, or damage to residents’ belongings to the residents’ key worker.
5. Maintaining an updated inventory of laundry detergents.
6. Ensuring the laundry facility remains clean at all times.
7. Providing residents with a professional laundering service that maintains high standards.
