A leading residential care home in the United Kingdom is seeking a Laundry Assistant to provide an efficient laundry service, ensuring care for residents' clothing and linens. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with a passion for care. Full training will be provided. This role offers a competitive salary, 28 days of holiday, and additional benefits.
Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, the Laundry Assistant is responsible for providing an efficient laundry service in line with the residents' choice around the laundry service they wish to receive, and ensuring that all washing, drying and ironing for residents' personal clothing and linens are completed with the utmost care.
Experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
