The Orders of St John Care Trust in Arundel is seeking a Laundry Assistant to provide a dedicated laundry service for residents, operating commercial washing, drying and finishing equipment. You’ll ensure the laundry area is safe, clean and tidy and that all laundry is processed efficiently.
No formal laundry experience is required; training will be provided and you’ll have support from the team to develop your skills.

As a Laundry Assistant you’ll be responsible for providing a laundry service for our residents; this includes the operation of commercial washing, drying and finishing machinery. You’ll ensure the laundry area is safe, clean and tidy at all times and that all laundry is processed in an efficient and timely manner.
Some of our residents love to join in with simple laundry tasks, so you may sometimes find that you have extra help as you carry out your daily routines.
