Location: Woodsmith Mine, Sneaton, Whitby, YO22 5BF Pay rate: £13.27 per hour Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 11.5 hours per week, Sunday only Shift times: 0600 - 1800 (with ½ hour unpaid break)

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Laundry and Cleaning Operative to join our team working at Woodsmith Mine.

You will be responsible for cleaning welfare areas on site including boot rooms, offices (including desks, etc.), WC and shower areas, and canteen areas. Cleaning to a high standard, ensuring all tasks are completed in good time, and all equipment is stored safely. You will also provide a laundry service ensuring to complete washing of PPE and other laundry duties.

What you'll do:

• You will be cleaning boot rooms, washrooms, canteen, and welfare areas on-site, ensuring all standards are maintained throughout, and all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Reporting hazards and checking over equipment to ensure they are in good condition, reporting any issues to management.
• You will be working alone on occasion and as part of a team, working together to ensure all daily tasks have been covered.
• Duties will include sweeping, mopping, hoovering, rubbish disposal, and other general duties attached to the role.

What we're looking for:

• Cleaning and laundry experience is desired, but not essential as full training will be given onsite and online training.

This site has a zero tolerance to alcohol and drugs, testing daily.
