Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking Cover Supervisors to join our supply teaching network. This role does not require a teaching qualification; you will supervise lessons, deliver pre-planned work, and help students stay engaged while a class teacher is absent.

You will secure placements in secondary schools across Shrewsbury, Telford and surrounding areas with support from an experienced education consultant. Ongoing professional development and access to long-term or permanent opportunities are

Qualifications

• We are seeking individuals interested in pursuing a career in education.
• Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills.
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable.
• Comfortable working with young people aged 11 to 16.
• Positive role models who can engage and motivate students.
• Previous experience with young people is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects.
• Delivering pre-set work provided by teaching staff.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
• Supporting students to remain engaged and on task.
