Job summary

YTL UK invites applicants for a Safety, Health and Environment Technician Apprentice. You will gain a Level 3 qualification while supporting the Health and Safety team across water and wastewater operations in Bath.

The role covers inspections, risk assessments, incident reporting and health and safety administration, with training through Compass Training. A permanent role may follow upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Desire to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support health and safety team to promote a safe and compliant working environment.
• Assist with inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Contribute to safety campaigns and health and safety administration.
• Engage with stakeholders and signpost where needed.
• Learn and apply relevant health and safety legislation and best practice.
