Job summary

ASHTON REED RECRUITMENT LIMITED, based in the Midlands, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join the manufacturing team. You will program, set up and operate CNC turning machines, ensuring components meet tight tolerances and high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong CNC turning knowledge, experience with Fanuc controls, and G-Code/M-Code, and can read engineering drawings to select appropriate materials. Morning shift; Midlands region.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Turner Programmer in engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC turning processes.
• Experience using Fanuc controls.
• Star/Lynx machinery familiarity.
• Ability to programme using G-Code and M-Code.
• Good understanding of materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, plastics and other engineering materials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.

The Role

Looking for an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in CNC turning within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines while ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience working as a CNC Turner Programmer within the engineering and manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of CNC turning processes.
• Experience using Fanuc controls.
• Star/Lynx machinary familiarity
• Ability to programme using G-Code and M-Code.
• Good understanding of a range of engineering materials including:

  • Stainless steel
  • Plastics
  • Other commonly used engineering materials
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Working Hours

Morning Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm (Early Finish)
