Job summary

Next Phase Recruitment is seeking an experienced formulation scientist to head up the Late-Stage Formulations team within a leading pharmaceutical company. The role combines scientific leadership with hands-on formulation expertise and cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust, scalable formulations for commercial manufacture.

The successful candidate will drive development and process scale-up while ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA/EMA, and regulatory expectations, and will lead a team

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in formulation development and process scale-up.
• Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, EMA, and VICH/ICH requirements.
• Proven leadership skills managing scientific teams.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
