Job summary

Edwards in Eastbourne is seeking a Team Leader for the late shift (Mon-Thu 2:30pm–10:15pm; Fri 11:45am–5:45pm) on a 12-month fixed term. Lead and coach a production operator team to deliver safe, high-quality output, driving engagement and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Production Manager, focus on frontline leadership, and use VTPS to empower problem solving and process improvements while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience of leading, motivating and developing a team.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and best practice.
• Ability to work with detailed information in a logical, organised way.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident with taking initiative.
• Strong time management and IT skills.
• Commitment to health and safety for self and others.
• Strong interpersonal and team-working skills.
