Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton and Walsall is seeking a Laser Marking Operator in Walsall to join its engineering team. You will set, operate and maintain laser marking equipment, producing high-quality serial numbers and codes on a range of components.

Qualifications

Laser Marking Operator

I am recruiting a laser marking operator to join my client who are a market leader in their industry. The client manufactures various components for a range of industries, using processes such as laser marking.

This role requires the successful candidate to set, operate and maintain laser marking equipment to produce high-quality components to customer specifications. The role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to work from drawings and instructions, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Duties of a Laser Marking Operator

• Set and Operator a laser marking machine
• Producing accurate and permanent marks such as serial number/codes on a variety of products.
• Load parts/components
• Perform quality checks
• Inspect finish parts
• Computer literate
• Ensure paperwork is kept up to date
• Report machine faults
• Full training provided

The ideal candidate will have a background in Engineering, the ability to read technical drawings and can demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Training will be provided
