The successful candidate will have an engineering/physics background with weapons systems experience, proven leadership, and strong communication skills, while adapting to hybrid on-site work and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering/physics background with weapons systems experience.
• In-depth understanding of laser (DEW) technologies and systems.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing technical team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a high-performing team of scientists and engineers in the Laser DEW domain.
• Oversee delivery across multiple complex projects from concept to implementation.
• Drive strategic planning and innovation within LDEW capabilities.
• Represent MBDA UK in NATO groups and NIAGs related to LDEW.
