Large format print all rounder with Zund experience

Overview:

Oasis Graphic Co is looking for a large format print finisher with Zund experience. Day to day tasks include all aspects of large format print graphic production finishing including: running roll-to-roll latex, and flatbead UV printers, weeding, taping up, laminating, mounting, trimming, operation of Zund cutting table, application of fixings, collating, packing, labelling and dispatching.

Knowledge of Zund operation is essential, although more training will be given. You will also have good knowledge and experience with laminators and vinyl plotters and experience with Latex and UV print.

Responsibilities:

Oasis Graphic Co prides itself on it’s attention to detail and exceptional service levels, so to maintain these, the following is required:

• Updating the Clarity SFDC system as you start and complete tasks
• Communicating effectively to maintain smooth production workflow - using our spec sheets and works order
• Reporting back to Production Manager to help improve internal systems
• Exercising quality control at all times
• Maintaining the cutting equipment on which you are working during your shift in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and Oasis Graphic Co. standards

Requirements:

• Be a team player, attending the daily department meeting to understand your team’s workload
• Have good experience with operating and maintaining the following finishing equipment: Zund, Laminators, Vinyl Plotters
• Have good experience with mounting, laminating, vinyl weeding and application
• Have experience with latex and UV printers
• Be organised and communicate well
• Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to overcome challenges- Be punctual and flexible
• Open to working overtime and occasional weekends
