Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking an experienced Landside Transport Planner for night shifts at London Heathrow. You will coordinate land-based transport operations, ensuring security and safety compliance, and manage cargo movements 24/7 in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong English communication, prior transport planning experience, and flexible night shifts (4 on, 4 off). A clean driver’s license and forklift license are preferred. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transport planning or operations coordination.
• Experience with air and road logistics.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to use logistics IT systems.
• Full clean driver’s license; forklift license is a plus.
• ADR knowledge and hazardous awareness is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Route planning to develop optimal transportation routes.
• Carrier selection to transport cargo with suitable providers.
• Load consolidation to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Scheduling and dispatching of transportation movements.
• Documentation and compliance with transportation laws and regulations.
• Cost analysis and optimization for transportation savings and efficiencies.
• Customer communication to maintain high satisfaction with WFS.
