About The Role:

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, but will most likely work a few weekends, as per business needs.

The Landscape Team Leader will oversee a team of arborists and landscapers, driving improvements in guest perception through high-quality landscaping and planting schemes. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the park’s visual appeal, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering exceptional standards in a high-pressure, high-footfall environment. The position also requires expertise in rope work and reactive tree maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of arborists and landscapers to deliver outstanding results.
  • Plan and allocate daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to schedules. Guest Experience & Standards:
  • Develop and implement planting schemes that enhance the park’s aesthetics and guest experience.
  • Monitor and maintain landscaping standards across all areas of the resort.
  • Promoting environmentally sustainable practices in landscaping. Tree & Landscape Maintenance/Compliance:
  • Oversee reactive tree maintenance, including rope access work and emergency interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and tree preservation requirements.
  • Create and implement planned preventative maintenance tasks, to maintain standards across the resort Operational Excellence:
  • Manage landscaping operations in a high-footfall environment, minimizing disruption to guests.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support events and seasonal displays.
  • Meeting with the client to discuss their landscaping needs and preferences, providing advice and suggestions. Health & Safety:
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring all work is carried out in line with regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate records of work completed.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience managing landscaping and arborist teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of planting schemes, horticulture, and tree maintenance practices.
  • Competence in rope work and reactive tree maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
