Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an enthusiastic vegetation management professional to join our team on a major national utility contract. The role focuses on arboriculture and forestry tasks, with emphasis on safety, compliance and high standards of workmanship.

Training is provided, and we value teamwork and customer satisfaction. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with a 1-hour lunch, totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Will have an Arb or Forestry qualification.
• Will have previous experience in arboriculture or forestry, preferably utility arb or land-based industry.
• Will be a trained and competent climber.
• Be competent and confident in your role although high quality training is provided for the right person.
• Be comfortable working in a small team, you will need to be a problem solver, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively, efficiently and have a professional and safe approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Join our team to work on this long standing and well established major national utility vegetation management contract.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, safety, compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and the promotion of safe working practices.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

The team member will work Monday - Friday. Standard work hours will be 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The team member may be expected to be flexible on the hours based on the requirements of the role, but overall, the hours will equate to 40 hours per week.
