Job summary

Workshop Recruitment is seeking a Landscape Garden Designer & Project Manager for a Curdridge-based role near Southampton. You will combine garden design with project management from initial enquiry through to project completion, presenting design solutions and quotations while building strong client relationships.

The package includes a £28,000–£35,000 basic salary, up to £10,000 gross profit bonus, and a company van.

Qualifications

• Experience in garden design and/or a relevant garden design qualification.
• Previous project management experience and strong time management.
• Proven sales experience presenting ideas to clients.
• Good computer skills; CAD, KeySCAPE or SketchUp desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute locally.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and develop suitable garden solutions.
• Produce detailed drawings and computer-aided designs.
• Prepare competitive quotations while maintaining profit margins.
• Convert enquiries into live projects and achieve sales targets.
• Manage site staff and oversee workmanship.
• Provide clear instructions and coordinate project activity.
• Manage health & safety, risk assessments and company procedures.
• Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
