Madisons Recruitment is recruiting for a Landscape Architect on a permanent basis located in the Luton area.

General Responsibilities
- Participate in our client’s company events and socials where possible, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Uphold our client’s company values, as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Collaborate with external design team members and address coordination issues.
- Liaise with clients and attend meetings as required.
- Attend regular CPD sessions and events, including design critiques and knowledge sharing sessions in the office.
- Work closely with other staff members including designers, foremen, site and maintenance operatives, and the admin team to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- With support from your line manager, manage and programme project deliverables through each work stage to meet milestones and deadlines.
- Manage the design process and produce relevant materials for design presentations.
- Produce construction detail drawings and assist with tender packages. Generate specifications, presentations, and other documents as part of the design process.
- Manage health and safety obligations for all projects you are working on.
- Manage the drawing protocol on relevant file sharing platforms for each project.
Requirements (Skills & Experience)
- A degree in landscape architecture; experienced garden designers with a diploma in garden design are also welcome.
- Strong design skills with the ability to conduct effective site analysis that translates into coordinated designs.
- Good knowledge of planting and planting styles.
- Experience using 2D AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Organized, analytical, and able to manage time efficiently.
- Basic understanding of planning legislation and its relation to projects.
- Basic understanding of landscape construction, including monitoring construction work and site reporting.
