Job Opportunity: Landscape Architect

Location: East Sussex

A dynamic consultancy in East Sussex is seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join their team. Every project is viewed as an opportunity to foster connectivity and enhance the well–being of both natural and human communities. They design public and commercial landscapes for a range of development types, with projects up to 5M in value.

About the Consultancy: This design consultancy is driven by a robust design ethos. The company has many years of experience of major UK developments, planning and designing projects, environmental impact assessments and Masterplanning.

Ideal Candidates: The consultancy is seeking Landscape Architects with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Essential qualities include technical proficiency, strong design acumen, demonstrable experience of landscape planning, and experience in leading projects, managing teams, and client interaction.

• Experience: 2 years+ in landscape design

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field

• Desired: Chartered or in progress towards chartered status

• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign. Strong technical skills and design capabilities. Revit experience is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage landscape design projects from conception to completion.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other consultants, local communities, councils, and stakeholders.

• Develop and retain strong communication channels within the design team.

• Contribute to the creation of inspiring outdoor environments that enhance communities and enrich lives.
