The Engineering & Design Team is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to help shape Bristol for a low carbon sustainable future.
What will I be doing?
As part of a friendly and enthusiastic team, you will play an important role in designing innovative public realm schemes for urban highways and transport projects. You will help to shape Bristol's green infrastructure for a low carbon sustainable future. You will also support the public realm engagement and design of regeneration and housing led projects. You will be leading on delivery of the public realm and landscape of major highway projects from concept to completion, assisted by our team of Engineers.
What do I need to have?
You should be an enthusiastic and positive team player with hands on experience in the design and delivery of public realm projects. You should have a wide-ranging knowledge of current design guidance and legislation. It would be an advantage if you can demonstrate a good understanding of the challenges of delivering blue/green public realm infrastructure in an urban environment.
We would particularly welcome applications from landscape architects who have experience in design and delivery of active travel schemes, and highway drainage design (including SuDS). You will need to be proficient in the use of digital methods for design, document preparation and project programming and able to guide others in their use.
