Job summary

Ground Control is offering an enthusiastic Landscape Apprentice role on a major infrastructure site near Uxbridge. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience, a recognised Level 2 qualification, and practical landscaping skills with guidance from seasoned operatives.

You don't need prior landscaping experience; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key. The role involves planting, maintenance and safety on site, with funded apprenticeship studies and career progression

Qualifications

• No previous landscaping experience required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and enrol on funded apprenticeship.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to travel to site for early starts.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to plant trees, shrubs and whips and help create new green spaces.
• Assist with preparing planting areas and installing stakes and protective materials.
• Help maintain new landscapes through watering, weeding and mulching.
• Learn to use landscaping tools safely, including strimmers and mowers.
• Understand planting plans, drawings and specifications to ensure quality workmanship.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
