  • Redefine and reanalyse pre-flight and post-flight aircraft operations, assessing their impact on Nose Landing Gear fatigue life.
  • Complete preliminary impact assessments to support technical discussions with landing gear suppliers.
  • Provide fatigue loads, spectra, damage and occurrence data for supplier-level evaluations.
  • Act as the principal interface between landing gear suppliers and relevant Airbus teams.
  • Coordinate engineering projects from concept through to delivery, managing time, budget and quality requirements.

  • Gain exposure to specialist engineering, technical publications, customer services and supplier teams.
  • Develop your experience in project delivery, vendor liaison and cross-functional coordination.
  • Work a 4.5-day, 35-hour week, with hours agreed between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm at the discretion of the business.
  • Join a new position with a contract running until June 2027 and the possibility of extension.
Essential
  • Strong experience in both static stress analysis and fatigue and damage tolerance engineering.
  • Knowledge of landing gear structures, fatigue analysis and Airworthiness Limitations.
  • Practical understanding of fatigue loads, spectra, damage and life-limit calculations.
  • Experience researching technical documents and engineering archives.
  • Strong technical report-writing skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate activity across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
