Salary: £32,000 - £39,500 (including Full Training, Van, Phone, Laptop, Electrical Qualification Training, Annual Bonus, Private Healthcare, Cash Plan, Life Insurance, Enhanced Holidays with Buy Backs, Enhanced Parental/Mat Leave, and more)

Join a leading waste management company managing over 10 sites across the UK, producing renewable energy from landfill gas, and committed to employee development and long-term career growth.

In this varied role, you'll work on gas collection systems, perform mechanical maintenance on power generation engines and equipment, and receive comprehensive landfill industry training.

The Role:

1. Monitoring gas collection systems, including analyzers and data management.
2. Maintaining and diagnosing faults in gas collection systems.
3. Maintaining power generation assets, engines, and generators.
4. Mechanical and electrical plant maintenance.
5. Participating in a 24-hour emergency call-out rotation (1 in 6 weeks).
6. Occasional travel to Southeast and South Wales.

The Person:

1. Hands-on experience, such as in light maintenance, plant operation, or outdoor work.
2. Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
3. Willingness to learn through technical training.
4. Motivated to build a career in renewable energy.
5. IT literate, able to use a laptop effectively.
