Job summary
Northumberland College’s Kirkley Hall Campus seeks a Programme Leader to join the Land-based team, delivering Agriculture Level 2 and 3 with emphasis on machinery operation and safe handling.
You will also support Level 2 Land-based Engineering, develop curriculum, and collaborate with industry partners to ensure programmes reflect current practices. 0.4 FTE role; teaching with industry engagement.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience operating a wide range of agricultural and farm machinery.
- Experience in planning and delivering inclusive learning sessions.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high quality, sequenced learning through career-focused schemes of learning.
- Provide an excellent experience to students through exemplary learning, teaching and standards of assessment.
- Teach to high standards using varied student-centered approaches and learning technologies.
- Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the wider professional development programme.
- Liaise with support teams to provide high-quality academic support as required.
- Participate in college recruitment and marketing events where required.
