At Bishop Burton College, we're looking for an experienced Land-based Engineering professional who can bring engineering theory to life and help students develop the mathematical, mechanical and technical understanding required in today's industry. We're particularly interested in candidates who are confident teaching the principles behind engineering, from calculations and diagnostics to machinery systems, alongside practical workshop skills.

You may already be teaching, training apprentices or mentoring colleagues. Equally, you may be an engineer looking for a new challenge and considering education for the first time. If you don't currently hold a teaching qualification, don't worry. We'll support you to gain a recognised teaching qualification while you work, providing the guidance and development needed to become an outstanding lecturer.

The Landbased Engineering Department at Bishop Burton College provides students with the technical knowledge, practical skills and industry experience needed to succeed in modern agricultural and land-based engineering. With industry-standard workshops, specialist machinery and strong employer partnerships, our students gain hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, diagnostics, welding, fabrication and agricultural engineering technologies.
