Job summary

MorePeople is recruiting a Land Assembly Officer for Cambridge, offering a home-based role within our Utilities and Infrastructure team. You will own projects from inception to completion, engaging with stakeholders, negotiating land consents, acquisitions and compensation claims, and ensuring timely delivery for substations and underground cables.

Qualifications

• Experience in land assembly, property, utilities or infrastructure.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, negotiating with stakeholders and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
• MRICS and/or FAAV qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage multiple projects, prioritising workloads and tracking progress to meet deadlines.
• Lead negotiations for land consents, acquisitions and compensation claims.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and line managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide clear, reasoned advice and recommendations to clients.
• Facilitate new customer connections, lease renewals and land acquisitions relating to substations and underground cable infrastructure.
• Demonstrate an understanding of billing processes, financial responsibilities and accurate time recording.
• Collaborate across different disciplines to deliver integrated, high-quality services.
• Maintain strong client and customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
• Demonstrate dependability, resilience and a commitment to delivering results.
