Job summary

MorePeople is partnering with a growing utilities and infrastructure team to recruit a Land Assembly Officer for roles around Oxford. The position is home-based with regional collaboration, focusing on leading land settlements, negotiations, and client liaison to deliver infrastructure projects.

You will manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and provide clear recommendations while ensuring compliance with billing and time-recording processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in land assembly, property, utilities or infrastructure.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues to drive delivery.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage multiple projects, prioritising workloads and deadlines.
• Lead negotiations for land consents, acquisitions and compensation claims.
• Communicate with clients, colleagues and line managers to ensure project delivery.
• Provide clear, reasoned advice and recommendations to clients.
• Facilitate new connections, lease renewals and land acquisitions for substations and cables.
• Understand billing processes, financial responsibilities and time recording.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality services.
• Maintain strong client relationships and trust.
