Are you looking for the next step in your career and want to join an expanding team as the company continues to build on its success?

I'm currently working with a leading house builder as they search for a land manager to join their team based in the North West. You should ideally come from a high-volume house builder with experience in large projects and land bidding.

You should have closed deals and possess excellent knowledge of the Lancashire, Chester, Cumbria & Merseyside regions. Ideally, 4+ years post-graduation experience and a desire to progress. You will collaborate with internal and external consultants to manage projects through the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing off-market land for purchase in the North West
• Maintaining contact with housing associations for potential partnership JV’s
• Negotiating with landowners and agents of potential purchases
• Overseeing legal, planning, and design consultants pre- and post-acquisition
• Staying updated with town planning policies, especially in targeted areas for letter writing

Expected experiences

• Degree-qualified, preferably property-related
• Proven deal maker with 3-4 land deals annually
• Senior land manager or ready to step up
• Track record of sourcing and acquiring land in the North West
• Currently employed at a national residential developer, high-profile investor, or agency
• Understanding of planning application and appeals processes
• Strong network in the land agency sector
• Driven, ambitious, and determined
• Ability to work independently
