Job summary

Macstaff in Guildford is seeking a Lance Operator / Engineering Operative to join a small, hands-on team delivering specialist plant and machinery maintenance and cleaning to a diverse client base. You will work on site and travel from the Guildford base as required, handling equipment in varied environments.

The role includes full training, PPE supplied, a 28k starting salary with progression, and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on maintenance roles is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel and work in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Manual role with specialist equipment; PPE and training provided.
• Follow risk assessments, method statements and procedures.
• Handle tools and equipment; maintain stock records and inventory.
• Adhere to Health & Safety standards on and off site.
• Carry out equipment maintenance tasks and yard duties as required.
• Present a professional demeanor on client sites.
