Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant in Lambeth to join an Additionally Resourced Provision from September 2026. The role involves supporting pupils with autism and complex communication needs within a structured ARB setting attached to a mainstream school.

You will work with teachers, SENCO and therapists to support communication, emotional regulation and access to learning throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN or autism.
• Calm, patient and adaptable.
• Work well within a team environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Experience in specialist provisions (ARB/SEN) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within the ARB on a one-to-one and small group basis.
• Assisting with communication and sensory-based learning activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Helping pupils access personalised learning programmes.
• Working collaboratively with the wider SEN team.
