Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES in Manchester is seeking an experienced ladies multi-product Fashion Garment Technologist to join our team. You will ensure garments meet quality, chase lab tests, and manage the critical path to meet delivery dates.

You will work closely with the design team through product development at the start of each season, assemble technical packs, and participate in fit sessions and size-chart development. Strong QA and factory liaison skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ladies or men’s multi-product ranges.
• Must have worked for a supplier of high street fashion ranges in a similar role.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.
• Fully PC literate and detail oriented.
• Able to work with a methodical, no-nonsense approach.
• Knowledge of critical path scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and checking garments when they arrive.
• Sending clear comments to factories.
• Ensuring lab dips, sealers, fits, production and lab tests are chased up and on time.
• Collaborating with design team through product development at season start.
• Putting together technical packs.
• Attending fit sessions and developing size charts.
• Arranging production, pre-production QC checks and grading garments.
• Ensuring garments meet required quality standards.
• Approving fabrics, test reports and inspections.
• Promoting quality and performance improvements.
• Building professional relationships.
