Job summary

Pertemps Enfield is seeking a Labouring Assistant for a temporary 3-week contract at its Basildon site. The role runs full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

Immediate start and duties include site housekeeping, moving materials, and assisting colleagues on a construction equipment site. The successful candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and able to follow safety procedures while working outdoors and as part of a team on daily site activities

Responsibilities

• Keep workshop and yard areas clean and hazard-free.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Support the maintenance operator with general labouring duties.
• Move equipment and materials around the site as required.
• Assist with housekeeping duties across the facility.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site standards.
• Carry out other general duties as requested by the site team.
