Job summary

Pertemps Enfield is recruiting a Cleaner for a temporary 3-week contract at a Basildon site. Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm, you will help keep a busy site clean and safe, supporting canteens, washrooms and office areas with a strong emphasis on hygiene and safety.

The role suits someone reliable with good attention to detail and a positive work ethic who can work independently on-site with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise the canteen and communal areas.
• Clean toilets and washrooms to a hygienic standard.
• Tidy and sanitise office and workspace areas.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards across the site and follow health and safety procedures.

Due to increased workload, we are seeking a Cleaner to join the team on a temporary 3-week contract at their Basildon site.

The Role

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment across the site. Duties will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining the canteen and communal areas


• Cleaning toilet and washroom facilities


• Tidying and sanitising self-contained office and workspace areas


• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately


• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies where required


• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the site


• Following all health and safety procedures
