Job summary

VGC on behalf of our client on a major UK construction site is seeking a reliable Labourer. You will support trades, move materials, keep areas tidy and help site operations on a long-term assignment. Valid CSCS Green Card is essential; prior site experience is preferred. You will work 12-Hour Shifts on a 12 days on, 2 days off pattern.

Labourer

Our client is currently seeking hardworking and reliable Labourers to join their team on a major construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a busy site, supporting trades and site operations while maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

The Role:

As a Labourer, you will play a key role in assisting site teams with day-to-day operations, ensuring work areas are kept safe, clean, and organised.

Duties Include:

• Assisting tradespeople with general site duties
• Moving materials and equipment around site
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Supporting site set-up and maintenance activities
• Following all site health and safety procedures
• Carrying out other general labouring duties as instructed by site management

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Green Card (essential)
• Previous construction site experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
