Job summary

Trent Precast Concrete Ltd, part of the JRL Group, is seeking a Crane Operative to join our night shift team at our Nottingham-area factory. You will work with precast concrete, operate overhead gantry cranes, and help prep units for the day shift while adhering to HSE standards.

Experience in factory environments and in precast concrete is preferred. The role offers a pension, career progression opportunities, and an onsite gym for staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with precast concrete preferred.
• Experience in factory environments.
• Experience with overhead gantry cranes is a must for crane operative.

Responsibilities

• Report to Foreman & Factory Manager.
• Work with night shift team to lift out and prepare the factory for the day shift.
• Ensure precast units are moved safely and on schedule.
• Provide daily handovers and attend weekly management meetings.
• Keep the work area tidy and clean.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Foreman & Factory Manager.
• Working with the night shift team to lift out and prepare the factory for the day shift adhering to all H&S requirements.
• Ensuring precast units are lifted out in a controlled, safe and timely manner according to the management systems.
• Providing detailed handovers daily and attending weekly meetings with Management.
• Keeping the area tidy and clean.

Requirements

• Experience of working with precast concrete preferred.
• Experience within Factory environments.
• Experience of working with Overhead Gantry cranes is a MUST for crane operative.
• Quality and process driven to work optimum efficiencies.
