Job summary

Trent Precast Concrete Ltd, part of the JRL Group, operates from Nottingham and specializes in precast concrete units. We are seeking an experienced crane operative to support night shift activities, lift precast units safely, and assist the day shift with handovers and clean work areas.

Ideal candidates will have factory experience, knowledge of gantry cranes, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency within a growing construction group.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with precast concrete.
• Experience within factory environments.
• Experience with overhead gantry cranes is mandatory for crane operative.
• Quality and process driven to work optimum efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to Foreman & Factory Manager.
• Working with the night shift team to lift out and prepare the factory for the day shift adhering to all H&S requirements.
• Ensuring precast units are lifted out in a controlled, safe and timely manner according to the management systems.
• Providing detailed handovers daily and attending weekly meetings with Management.
• Keeping the area tidy and clean.
