Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a reliable General Labourer for a busy commercial site in Yeovil (BA20). The role starts immediately and offers steady full-time hours with potential for long-term, temp-to-perm employment.

You will assist skilled trades, move materials, maintain a clean and safe site, and operate basic tools under supervision. Applicants must have a valid CSCS card and be physically fit with reliable transport to Yeovil.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card (Green / Skilled worker) required.
• Full PPE including hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, steel-toe boots.
• Experience working on a construction site preferred.
• Good work ethic, punctual and physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople on-site (carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers).
• Loading, unloading and moving building materials across the site.
• Keeping the site clean and safe, managing waste responsibly.
• Operating basic power tools and hand tools under supervision.
• Following site health and safety guidelines at all times.

Job Title: General Construction Labourer

Location: Yeovil, Somerset (BA20)

Pay Rate: £16.55 / hour

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Duration: Ongoing / Temp-to-Perm

Requirements
