Job summary

GM Recruitment is seeking a reliable General Labourer to join a site team on a Leicester project. You will help keep the site clean, move materials and support trades, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a CSCS card, full PPE, and are punctual, proactive, and able to work as part of a team on a busy construction site in Leicester. The role begins on Monday 2nd November with 8:00am-5:00pm shifts. Hourly PAYE rate set at £12.71ph or umbrella £16.63ph.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is essential.
• Full PPE is essential.
• Previous construction site experience preferred.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Supporting tradespeople and site management with general duties.
• Moving materials and assisting with deliveries.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Keeping walkways and access routes clear.
• Removing waste and disposing of rubbish correctly.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Wearing the correct PPE and carrying out additional duties as directed by the site manager.
