Job summary

GM Recruitment is seeking a reliable General Labourer to join a site team on a Norfolk construction project. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and organized site environment and support trades to keep the project flowing smoothly.

The role requires a valid CSCS card, full PPE, and a practical understanding of site health and safety. You must be reliable, punctual, and able to travel to the Norfolk site on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card - essential.
• Full PPE - essential.
• Previous construction site experience preferred.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• The physical ability to carry out manual labour and manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and proactive approach. The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transport or the ability to travel consistently to the Norfolk site.

Responsibilities

GENERAL LABOURER REQUIRED - NORFOLK

Start Date: Monday 26th October Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

We're looking for a reliable, switched-on General Labourer to join a site team on a project in Norfolk.

This role is ideal for someone who knows their way around a construction site, takes pride in their work and doesn't need chasing to get the job done. You'll play a key part in keeping the site running smoothly, supporting trades and maintaining a safe, organised working environment.

THE ROLE

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Supporting tradespeople and site management with general duties.
• Moving materials and assisting with deliveries.
• Loading and unloading materials safely.
• Keeping walkways and access routes clear.
• Removing waste and disposing of rubbish correctly.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Wearing the correct PPE and carrying out additional duties as directed by the site manager.
