Job description

The Fire Service College: Where excellence meets resilience at the ultimate training ground for firefighting professionals.

Working with an onsite team, you will be responsible of the efficient and effective set up of all training activities and equipment at the Fire Service College in Moreton in Marsh.

This is a full-time role, working 7am-3pm Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing:

  • Setting up the buildings for training exercises, this involves lifting of pallets and straw
  • Cleaning buildings after training exercises are complete, this will involve sweeping and clearing the buildings
  • Cleaning the lighting, drains and gullies.
  • Reporting all building and equipment defects and issues
  • Working as part of an existing team, as well as using own initiative
  • servicing and cleaning of equipment

  • Ability to lift pallets and be on your feet cleaning training buildings
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic IT skills
