Job summary

Platform Property Care, part of Platform Housing Group, is seeking an experienced Labourer to join our multi-skilled trades team. You will deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishment across Matlock, Chesterfield and surrounding areas, working in residents' homes with a customer-focused approach.

The role requires a valid driving licence, a DBS check, and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in Social Housing maintenance.
• Multi trades skills, basic knowledge of external trades helpful.
• Sound labouring experience in the building industry.
• Experience working in customers' homes.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment in residents' homes.
• Work as part of a multi-skilled trades team.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and first time fix where possible.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain safety and compliance while on site.

Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Labourer to join our multi-skilled trades team to help us deliver high quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishment services covering Matlock, Chesterfield and the surrounding area.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time. You will have a passion for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.

We want somebody who has:

• Experience in Social Housing maintenance
• Understanding and experience of providing property maintenance and repairs to an excellent standard
• Multi Trades skills - a basic knowledge of external trades including roofing, slabbing, pointing and fencing would be advantageous
• Sound labouring experience in the building industry
• Experience of working in Customer's homes
• Team skills but can work independently at times too
• Full current validdriving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
• Plus, as you will be working in customers' homes a DBS check is needed
