Job summary

Platform Property Care is recruiting a Labourer to join our multi-skilled trades team to help deliver high quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishment services across Matlock, Chesterfield and surrounding areas.

You will be a team player with a can-do attitude, working in customers' homes. A valid driving licence is essential and a DBS check is required. The role is mobile, with a basic salary of £28,072 per year and a range of benefits including pension, health cover and devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in Social Housing maintenance.
• Multi Trades skills with basic knowledge of external trades (roofing, slabbing, pointing, fencing).
• Sound labouring experience in the building industry.
• Experience of working in customers' homes.
• Full driving licence is essential.

We want somebody who can:

A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills.You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.You will have a passion for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.

We want somebody who has:

• Experience in Social Housing maintenance
• Understanding and experienceof providing property maintenance and repairs to an excellent standard
• Multi Trades skills – a basic knowledge of external trades including roofing, slabbing, pointing and fencing would be advantageous
• Sound labouring experience in the building industry
• Experience of working in Customer's homes
• Team skills but can work independently at times too
• Full current validdriving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role
• Plus, as you will be working in customers' homes a DBS check is needed
