Job summary

GM Recruitment is seeking a reliable General Labourer to join a site team on a Norfolk construction project. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and organized site environment and support trades to keep the project flowing smoothly.

The role requires a valid CSCS card, full PPE, and a practical understanding of site health and safety. You must be reliable, punctual, and able to travel to the Norfolk site on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card - essential.
• Full PPE - essential.
• Previous construction site experience preferred.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• The physical ability to carry out manual labour and manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and proactive approach. The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transport or the ability to travel consistently to the Norfolk site.

Responsibilities

• Keep the site clean, tidy and free from hazards.
• Support tradespeople and site management with general duties.
• Move materials and assist with deliveries.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Keep walkways and access routes clear.
• Remove waste and dispose of rubbish correctly.
• Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Wear the correct PPE and carry out additional duties as directed by the site manager.
