Job summary

ITS Building People are seeking an Experienced Labourer for a regional project around Uckfield, West Sussex. You will perform general site labour, move materials, and assist trades as required on a busy construction site.

A valid CSCS card and the ability to perform physical work are essential; own PPE is preferred or can be provided for a small fee. Start date is immediate, hours are 07:30–16:30, with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Experience in house-building or construction preferred.
• Candidate must be able to perform physical manual labour and lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• General labouring, site clearance and tidying.
• Moving materials between areas and around site.
• Assisting with plastering boards and deliveries if required.
• Supporting trades on site as needed and assisting the management team.

Job description:

Experienced Labourer required for a upcoming regional developer. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking labourer to assist our client with a project based in Uckfield, West Sussex. Own transport is preferred.

This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• General labouring, site clearance and general tidying
• Moving materials
• Plastering up the Boards
• Assisting with deliveries if required
• May need to assist with trades on site (training will be provided if necessary)
• Assisting the site management team

Requirements for the role

• A valid CSCS card
• References upon request
• The ability to perform physical manual labour
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

• Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
