Progress Housing Group is seeking a Labourer to assist with reactive repairs, void reinstatement, and planned maintenance across our client properties. You will perform laboring tasks safely and efficiently, supporting colleagues to ensure quality work and customer care.

The role As a Labourer, you will assist with reactive repairs, void re-instatement, planned maintenance and installation work across our internal and external client properties.
You will carry out labouring work to a satisfactory standard, supporting colleagues to complete works safely, efficiently and with care for our customers and their homes.
You will help ensure appointments are kept, debris is removed from site, materials are looked after properly and all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements, relevant legislation, building regulations, codes of practice and risk assessments.
You will communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and stakeholders, treating people and their property with respect and explaining the nature and purpose of the work being carried out.
What we’re looking for Essential Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety at work.Ability to keep accurate records.Able to work on your own initiative, stay self-motivated and work under pressure.Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.Hard working, enthusiastic and flexible in your approach to the job.
Desirable Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).Any recognised qualification, such as NVQ, SVQ or City & Guilds.Experience working for a social housing landlord.Experience of dealing with people in a customer service environment.
