Job summary

Giusti Group LP is hiring a skilled laborer for our Calgary, AB site. You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, using various power tools and hand tools to construct concrete formwork. Safety and teamwork are essential as you help meet production targets and handle materials up to 50 pounds.

Fluency in English is preferred, and legal status to work in Canada is required. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits available.

Description of Work:

• Utilize a wide range of specialized power tools, machines, and hand tools to contribute to the construction of concrete formwork.
• Read and accurately interpret measurements using a tape measure for precise wood cutting and material prepping.
• Collaborate effectively with a team, prioritizing safety in all aspects of the work environment.
• Thrive in a fast-paced setting, ensuring efficient production of concrete formwork.
• Assist with lifting and handling materials, up to 50 pounds, to support seamless operations.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in operating various specialized power tools, machines, and hand tools relevant to panel fabrication.
• Strong ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure, ensuring accuracy in construction.
• Fluent in spoken and written English, preferred but not mandatory.
• Team player mindset with a strong focus on safety protocols.
• Must have legal status to work in Canada.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets.
• Physically capable of lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Construction Site Experrience is a MUST.
