Qualifications

• Evidence of continuing professional development is required.
• Registered midwife with NMC PIN is essential.
• Mentor qualification or SSSA equivalent is desirable.
• NLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the labour ward and ensure safe patient flow within the maternity unit.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to midwifery staff and students.
• Maintain high standards of care while working with a multidisciplinary team.
