Job summary

Heineken UK is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic quality team. You will work across Analytical, Microbiology, Effluent and Sensory areas, conducting tests and supporting production operations in a fast-paced plant environment.

Based in UK facilities, you will record and analyse data, maintain equipment and ensure safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar science qualifications.
• Experience in laboratories with understanding of procedures and safety protocols.
• Experience with GC and HPLC techniques desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory tests to support manufacturing operations
• Record, analyse, and report data with precision and accuracy
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support production teams with sample preparation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Perform in-plant sampling and support operational teams with training and improvement projects
• Assist in documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
